the lasso is so underrated as a tool. I use it all time, it has so many practical applications. For example, you can loot someone's camp (not a bandit camp, a civilian camp) without losing honour - just lasso them. I usually drag them into their campfire so it saves time (dont have to hogtie, just burn them to a crisp instead). Just go into the weapons tab > manage weapons > miscellaneous > lasso. I get tired of my loadout all the time, so I tend to just completely clear out my weapons inventory then re-add the stock components: binos, lasso, hunting knife, lantern. As far as I’m aware, even if your timeline is still pre-epilogue, idk how you’d even get the lasso
A tip if you are hunting. Steal a horse and load that up with animals then whistle on your own horse and load that up as well, and then ride the stolen horse with a animal lassoed and have your own horse follow you.
